Where I first learned the importance of sowing peace…

As a Girl Guide in Canada, our troupe would visit the Peace Arch at the 49th parallet between Canada and the US near Blaine, WA & White Rock, BC. They impressed upon us the need for co-operation and collaboration at the Hands Across the Border gathering each year. It is still a major event. My daughter remembers going there with her Girl Guides as well. It started early!
